Last week, our engineers performed a major upgrade on BEZA.NET Control Panel.  Today we officially announce the launch of BEZA Control Panel version 3.2 which includes many new features to customers, resellers and service providers with a complete hosting automation solution for managing domain registration, shared web hosting (Linux and Windows), virtual private servers (VPS), database hosting (Microsoft SQL and MySQL), and mail hosting services.

BEZA.NET Systems Integrity & Security (SiS) team have implemented a new Denial-of-Service (DOS) security addon to ensure legitimate traffic is not impaired and DOS attackers are blocked. The vast majority of DOS attacks these days are implemented via a bot net requesting random files which generate lots of error 403 (File Not Found).

To avoid any false-positives where legitimate traffic is blocked by the new DOS security services, all customers are advised to ensure their web site links do not generate too many Error 404 (File Not Found) due to broken links or missing content.

The new SiS security services will block any connection that generates too many 404 errors for a 15-30 minutes.

We are pleased to announce the successful Linux Web Servers upgrade to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3. This upgrade ensures all customers will have the latest fixes and patch release to ensure feature enhancements, OS stability, and security hardening.
